WTI Study
What is the Women’s Thealogical Institute (WTI)?
The Women’s Thealogical Institute (WTI) is a multidimensional school and seminary for women who wish to further their understanding of the Goddess, women’s spirituality, and/or women’s witchcraft. Being a part of WTI offers women the opportunity to learn, practice, and share their spiritual work with others on similar paths.
There are two ways you can participate in WTI. Click one of the links below for more information.
WTI Weekend Groups
Currently, weekend programs happen in Austin, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Asheville, North Carolina; Madison, Wisconsin; and rotating cities in the western US. Women in the weekend program meet for 2 Advising weekends a year with their group to share their program work with others. WTI Weekend Groups are programs that require enrollment and may lead to certification and/or ministerial credentials.
If you are interested in starting a new WTI Weekend Group in your area, please email us.

WTI Online Program
All cycles of the Cella and Crone Programs are offered online and one may graduate from WTI through the Program. Online participants take part in regular training with their Advisor and become part of a learning and sharing online community. Currently WTI’s Athena Program is aligned with an online weekend group meeting twice a year.
Those interested in ordination and receiving ministerial credentials may take the first part of their training online, and will then need to transfer to a weekend group.
For more information, please email us at RCG-I.
WTI Weekend Groups meet twice yearly in various locations in North America.

Upcoming Intensive
Comparing Religions: An Exploration and Examination
with Susan Grossman
Presented by WTI Amazon Moon Asheville:
February 27th, March 7th and 8th, 2026~Zoom Virtual Classes
Friday, February 27 - 6:00PM - 9:00PM Central Time
Saturday, March 7 - 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM Central Time
Sunday. March 8 - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Central Time
Join us as we explore the beliefs and cosmology of previous and present-day prominent religions and their practices. We will explore the tenets of various theologies, their sources and genesis. Along with other WTI women, let us take a deeper dive and explore the origins of current prevailing religions, examining their beliefs and customs as they exist now and the role of women in them.
This Intensive will seek to give each woman a basis of understanding and knowledge of current traditional religions as well as what has allowed them to continue to flourish as lasting and durable “authorities” in our world today.
As Goddess women it is important to be able to converse with those of other beliefs in credible practice and discussion. In order to thoughtfully represent our own views to others, we need to understand their mindset. We can then arrive at a place of understanding and respect as we agree to manage our differences.
We will gather on two consecutive weekends, with an opportunity for activities and discussions between our times together. The first weekend will begin with a Friday evening session, which will be made available for a nominal fee to women considering joining WTI.
Susan Grossman is a multi-path graduate of the Women’s Thealogical Institute and Ordained Priestess of the Re-formed Congregation of the Goddess-International. She has taught workshops and classes on magick, ritual and feminism at RCG-I Conferences and Gatherings, Earth Day Festivals, National Women’s Music Festival and Pagan Spirit Gathering, and Temple of the Four Winds. A current WTI faculty member and advisor, she was ordained by RCG-I in 2009 and serves as Convening Advisor to the Wise Women of the West and Madison WTI groups. She oversees the Temple building at the Priestess and Hallows Gatherings.
A Chicago native, Susan now lives in Madison WI with her kitten familiar-in-training, Moira Mavis Rose and a rock ‘n roll parrot named Lucy.
This intensive will be an online Zoom class.
Cost for the class will be on a sliding scale of $80, $120, or $160 for all three days.
The Friday preview class (for prospective WTI participants) will be on a sliding scale of $5, $15, or $25, which would be applied to the full weekend amount for women joining WTI that evening.
Payment procedures will be sent when registration is received. Payment must be received before registration is complete. Class Zoom invitation will be sent after payment and 3 days prior to beginning of class.
