Six-week courses: $65 for enrolled WTI Participants / $75 for all others interested in personal growth.

Participants must be currently enrolled in the Women's Thealogical Institute (WTI) for reduced fee of $65 or $120. Fees for those not currently enrolled in the WTI are $75 or $150

Kabbalah, Qabalah, and Goddess with Judith Laura

Course Description: Jewish Kabbalah and Hermetic (aka Western Esoteric) Qabalah are given as examples of metaphysical systems that include both male & female depictions of divinity. But do these depictions show equality or something else? This course gives a conceptual history of both Jewish Kabbalah and Hermetic Qabalah (which combines Jewish, Christian, Egyptian and sometimes other symbolism), and traces and re-visions the Tree of Life, which is their central symbol, back to its likely source: the Ancient Near East Goddess Tree of Life.WTI Credit: Comparative Religions

 

Creating a Magical Home with Debi Smith

Course Description: Is your home a part of your magical work? Learn to utilize your home to enhance magic and create positive energy in your lives. Looking at different cultures and traditions we explore what our homes mean to us, and using ideas discussed in class, we envision what a home filled with magic would look like. We learn to use what our ancestors taught us to create sacred space within our homes, and also how this impacts our homes and our nurturing. Nuts & Bolts: A Writer´s Workshop with Kip Parker

Ogham & the Seasons of the Sun (13-weeks) with Bendis. 13-week Course: Fees are $120 WTI Enrolled Participants / $150 non-WTI Participants

Course Description: An ancient Ogham alphabet used as a calendar, both lunar & solar, is a unique & effective tool for personal development & spiritual growth. Explore our connections to trees, goddesses, birds, animals, colors, stones & much more, following the seasons of the year. This 13-week course includes three Lunar Cycles & one Season of the Sun, beginning one week before New Moon; an overview of the Ogham, its origins & applications, organization of the course & expectations. WTI Online Faculty for Winter 2010 Session

Judith Laura has been active in Goddess spirituality since the mid-1970s. This course is based on four of the six chapters in her book Goddess Spirituality for the 21st Century: From Kabbalah to Quantum Physics. She is also author of the earlier book, She Lives! The Return of Our Great Mother. Her first rituals were published in the journal WomanSpirit in 1978. Other of her rituals, articles, and poetry have appeared in The Beltane Papers, Of A Like Mind, Matrifocus, Goddess Pages, SageWoman, and Voices of Women. She had a regular column in The Beltane Papers from 2002 until 2007. She is a contributor to the "Dancing the Goddess Home" Ritual of the Goddess 2000 Project, and A Winter Solstice Singing Ritual (Emerald Earth 2002), and the anthology, A Pagan's Muse (Kensington/Citadel 2003). Debi Smith is an Ordained Priestess of RCGI and graduated from WTI as an Earthwalker, and Healer in Cella. Author of Naturally Gluten-Free Cooking and cooking class instructor. Debi has also taught classes at RCGI Gatherings and WTI.

Kip Parker is the author of The Planting Rite and an Ordained Priestess of the Re-Formed Congregation of the Goddess, International. She is the founder of eBard's Publishing Alliance.

Bendis is a Dianic high priestess ordained by Z Budapest, serving the Goddess and Her Women for 23 years. As founder of The Apple Branch, Bendis combines the ancient heritage of our European ancestors with modern feminist spirituality providing structure and tradition as well as creative spontaneity in feminine spirituality closely aligned with nature. A major part of the work Bendis does is on the Internet both in facilitating in networking for women who are seeking more knowledge of the Goddess as well as mentoring women in their spiritual growth. Bendis is the author of four books, From the Branch – The Ogham for Spiritual Growth, Dancing with Goddess, Annym Billagh – Healing with the Tree Ogham, and Ogham Twigs.
