Guidelines for Sponsoring a WTI Intensive
Sponsoring Intensives
- There must be a WTI group or RCG Circle willing to act as an Intensive sponsor.
- If an RCG Circle is acting, as a sponsor for an Intensive, there must be at least 3 WTI participants in that Circle.
- The sponsoring Circle or WTI group shall appoint a contact person and provide written confirmation of her name to the Women's Thealogical Institute (WTI).

Intensive Topics
The focus of WTI Intensives shall be on one of the following topics
- Creative Activities
- Comparative Religions
- Movement Awareness and Fitness
- Body and Health,
- Teaching
- Matricentric Culture and Mythology
- Cosmology/Thealogy
- Divination
- Communications
- Ritual/Liturgy
- Music/Drama/Dance
- Healing
- Activism
- Safeguarding
- Action Arts
- Mediation
- Energy Management
No topics other than these shall be considered for the focus of Intensives.

Intensive topics shall be extended to groups on the following basis:
- WTI will regularly survey WTI participants about their interest in specific Intensives. This information will be made available to Intensive sponsors. WTI will not encourage the conduction of Intensives about which there seems to be minimal interest.
- WTI will keep records of which Intensive topics have been recently offered and when. A specific Intensive topic may only be offered once a year unless a case for special circumstances is made to the WTI Advisory Council.
- Intensive topics shall rotate among the RCG Confluences (regions). A topic shall not be presented again in a Confluence until all other Confluences have had an opportunity to present that topic if they wish. *

Intensive Faculty
- WTI will maintain a list of faculty certified to present at Intensives. Only certified faculty will be considered to present at Intensives. All WTI faculty will be women. Persons interested in being considered as WTI Intensive faculty should download and complete the WTI Faculty Application. Applications should be submitted to WTI, c/o RCG-I, POB 6677, Madison, WI 53716, or to rcgiorg@aol.com.
- All negotiations about faculty expenses including fees and travel are to be
conducted directly with the WTI Intensive faculty.
- If the faculty member presenting a WTI Intensive is a participant in the WTI program, the participant may count her presentation as attendance at her yearly Intensive.

Attendance
- Only women who are enrolled participants, on leave, or graduates of a WTI program can attend an Intensive.
- The maximum attendance at any Intensive shall be 30.
- The minimum attendance at any Intensive shall be 10.
- The Intensive sponsor shall provide information about who attended the
Intensive. This information shall be submitted to WTI within 30 days from
the ending date of the Intensive.
- 20% of the spaces at an Intensive shall be held for women outside the Confluence
(region) of the sponsoring group until one month prior to the date of the Intensive. (For example if your Intensive is planned for twenty (20) women, 4 spaces would be held.)
- With the exception of graduates and women on leave, women previously enrolled in WTI but who are not currently enrolled may not attend Intensives.

Income
- 15% of the net proceeds from an Intensive will be sent to WTI to be placed in the
International WTI Scholarship Fund. A sponsoring group will send an itemized expense summary along with 15% of the net proceeds to WTI within 30 days from the ending date of the Intensive.
- Any other funds generated from an Intensive become the property of that Circle
or WTI group and may be allocated in any way agreed upon by the Circle or WTI group.

Financial Risk
The group sponsoring the Intensive assumes any and all financial risk associated
with producing, promoting and conducting an Intensive.

Accessibility
Every effort shall be made to assure that the WTI Intensive site is accessible to
women with mobility challenges.

Amending Lesson Plans
The WTI Advisory Council must approve any deviation from lesson plans
submitted by a facilitator.

Publicity
Groups sponsoring Intensives should post information describing the upcoming event to the WTI, Cella, Crone, and Guardian email list serves to allow other participants to learn of the scheduled Intensive. If a group needs assistance with this process, the group should contact WTI or the group’s Convening Advisor.
The Confluences are as follows:
- Central Confluence: Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
- Midwest Confluence: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
- Northeast Confluence: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Puerto Rico, and United States Virgin Islands.
- Southeast Confluence: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
- Southwest Confluence: Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.
- Western Confluence: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, American Somoa, Guam, Midway Islands, and Wake Island.
- Eastern Canadian Confluence: Newfoundland, Prince Edwards Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec
- Central Canadian Confluence: Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario & Eastern N. W. Territories.
- Western Canadian Confluences: Yukon, British Colombia, Alberta, Western N.W. Territories
- International Confluences: Confluences for countries and territories outside the United States shall be designated as sufficient members from these countries begin providing Intensives.
