Up-Shifting Energetic Gears!

2008 is the major hinge where we fully enter what is called the ‘Age of Aquarius’ according to many Next Age predictors. Terms such as alternative healing, crystal energy, indigo adult and aura are used regularly by those of us oblivious to them just ten years ago. Films representing a variety of dimensional travels are flooding our movie theaters.

Regular healing energy workers felt a global shift at the turn of the century, while at the same time more and more of us were drawn to the healing arts. Long time healers found sessions were more effective with much less time and persona expense. It took some getting used to - what used to take us two hours was now done in twenty minutes.

Now, eight years later, global energetic changes are affecting dimensional workers - we that work with energy in ritual, in shamanic journeys, in astral travel, in distance healing, etc. As the expansion of healing energy in 2000 attracted new healers, this dimensional awakening and shifting will intrigue new travelers. But we can sense other changes also occurring.

As ritualists, we set our parameters, run through our ritualistic routine - light our candles, perform various common enactments and nothing happens. The connection is there but the changed outcome does not manifest as it has in the past.

For pioneers and experienced dimensional energy workers, what this shift presents is somewhat disorienting. Lisa Renee describes the new sensation in a recent article entitled System Override at energeticsynthesis.com. ‘At times we may sense that we are existing in a void space...like we are waiting for something to happen...even strong intuitives may sense a disconnection like working in a type of spiritual blindness...’

We journeyers find that what worked before, no longer gets us where we want to go. It is like riding a bicycle when the chain comes off; we pedal and pedal but seem to not be going anywhere. Sticking with the same old system does not work; we need to up-shift our personal energetic paradigm.

Onto the next and newest stage of global energy!

So how do we up-shift? First and foremost - we trust our instincts! That does not mean trust our ego or comfort zone. This shift is on all levels of our being. We must call upon our guides to advise us of the next step to take on our spiritual path. We can try a change of lifestyle: alter our diet, move around all our furniture, paint our interior different colors, etc. Shake things up a bit!

For all of us, personal space clearing is a must. Take the time to consciously clear not just our inner being but where we live, where we work and where we relax. Don’t forget the car.

  • Seek to resolve old issues in all lifetimes; for this we can work with Diane Stein’s books Pendulums and the Light, or for more depth dimensional healing Reliance on the Light.
  • Cleanse and clear aura fields and energy centers;
  • Clear out home and office of clutter;
  • Get rid of any items that are not essential. A good rule of thumb; if we have not done anything with an item for two to five years - get rid of it!

For ritualists, try a new way of energy management. If we usually work with energy in a particular way try using the reverse. Recognize that global season start dates have changed. What used to be Spring is now still Winter or Summer in your area, alter celebrations accordingly.

  • Drawing energy up and in versus drawing energy down and out;
  • Working with Directions versus Working with Elements;
  • Change seasonal color schemes;
  • Incorporate something completely new and different. Take a class or read a book from someone who follows an alternate path.

For travelers, try a different way to obtain a meditative state. We can go back through our basic training. Take another beginning class from a different instructor.

  • Use a pendulum or metronome or loud clock;
  • Try color or candle concentration versus sound based travel;
  • Work with Flute and Harp versus Rattle and Drum;
  • Travel with a buddy, not just spirit guides. Ask a pet or other traveler to join you.

Change is the key. Everything She Touches Changes. What is common, what has become status quo, is now outdated and ineffective. The Old Ways may no longer function by themselves with this new energy shifting. Let us embrace something new to enhance and energize our lives.
